The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education Research (JIPMER) has released the results of Entrance Examination 2018. The Prerak Tripathi of Kanpur has illuminated the city by getting All India Third Rank (AIR-3). Prior to this, firstly he got the 33 ranks in NEET Examination at All India level in 2018 and the second ranks in the state level . This exam was held this year on 3th June throughout the country.





The JIPMER MBBS 2018 results have been announced on the official website jipmer.edu.in.

With 99.99 percentile score, Ankadala Anirudh Babu, topped the JIPMER MBBS exam. Top five students JIPMER Rank Name of the Student 1 Ankadala Anirudh Babu 2 Akhil Tambi 3 Prerak Tripathi 4 Amitabh Pankaj Chauhan 5 Keerthana.


The exam was held on June 3, 2018 for granting admission to 200 seats in medical undergraduate courses. 150 seats are available for intake at JIPMER Puducherry and rest 50 are available at JIPMER Karaikal.

MBBS counselling will begin on June 26, 2018 at JIPMER Academic Centre, Puducherry.

Close to 1 lakh 60 thousand students had appeared for the exam which was held at 290 centres nationwide.

Earlier, in 2018, after getting the 33rd rank at the All India level, the Prerak Tripathi of the Kanpur-based Second Topper of UP became an inspiration for everyone. Rawatpur's motivator was unable to attend NEET examination in 2016 due to low age. This time he got the chance and got 33rd rank in the first place and shone the name of the city at the national level. Prerak  say that he used to study 12 to 14 hours a day by combining school, coaching and self study. The schedule was kept in such a way that between studies, do not feel boredom.



In the 12th year 2017, he passed with 93 percent marks from Mantora Public School and 9.2 CGPAs in Tenth. His Father Avinash Chandra Tripathi is the Coordinator of NABARD Madhya Pradesh. Living in Bhopal and mother Hema Tripathi is a housewife. As soon as the results were released, the Prerak with the mother left for Bhopal to meet her father. Four brothers and one sister are motivated at number two. The elder sister Utkarshita is doing B. Pharm. from Allahabad. The younger brother, Devansh  and Sister Surchita are in the 9th.

The 11th book was started in the 10th

Prerak explains that when he was in the 10th he loved reading physiology. He done the whole study of the books of 10th completed in two months and then started reading the 11th book. According to Prerak , he wanted to become a doctor and gave examination for coaching scholarship after 10th. Preparing for Foundation Course from Aakash Institute and succeeded in two years. Prerak give credit to the institute's teachers for their success.


Prerak explains that he wants to do MBBS from AIIMS Delhi. AIIMS has also given entrance examination of MBBS. The result is awaited. If good ranks are there then he will be admitted to AIIMS or if he is studying from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi.
