SSC CHSL Eligibility Critria

SSC CHSL 2017 - 18 Notification

This year SSC released the notification of SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level ( CHSL ) examination for the students who passed their 10 + 2 standard examination from a recognized board in India. The beginning date for filling the form was 18 November 2017 and the Last date for filling the form was 27 December 2017.  Last date for offline payment was 29 December 2017 and the last date for online payment was 27 December 2017.SSC issued the application form under SSC CHSL for various posts:-

Lower Division Clerk ( LDC ) / Job Safety Analysis ( JSA ) For 898 Posts
Postal/ Shorting Assistant For 2359 Posts
Data Entry Operator ( DEO ) For 2 Posts

SSC CHSL 2017 - 18 Admit Card

Staff Selection Commission ( SSC ) has officially uploaded the SSC CHSL Admit Card 2018  of those candidates who applied for SSC CHSL 2018 examination. SSC officially announced that the duration examination will be starting from  4 March  2018 and ending on 28 March 2018. Since SSC CHSL Admit Card 2018 Examination for those students who belong to Eastern, Kerala, Karnataka, Southern, North Western & Western Region has uploaded on official website of SSC for this region So students from these regions, now can download their admit card and can check their application status, by clicking on link provided below :-

Application Fee Payment Structure/ Mode of Fee Payment

The students had the ability to fill their application fee online as well as offline mode:-

Offline Mode:- 

In offline mode, students could fill application fee through SBI Challan. Candidates had paid fee of Rs. 100, candidates could pay application fee through challan at any SBI branch. The students who belonged to SC/ ST/ Female / PH category had no need to pay any fee.

Online Mode:- 

In online mode, candidates had paid a  fee of Rs. 100, candidates could pay application fee through net banking or any credit/debit cards. The students who belonged to SC/ ST/ Female / PH category had no need to pay any fee.

Eligibility Criteria:-

The student who is interested in applying the SSC CHSL 2018 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

Nationality:- 

Those students who are filling the form for SSC CHSL must be a citizen of India

Age Limit:-  

In order to comply with eligibility criteria, the age of aspirant must be between 18 to 27 years old as on 01/08/2018. Hence aspirants must be born between 02/08/1991 to 01/08/2000.

Educational Qualification:- 

In order to comply with eligibility criteria for Lower Division Clerk ( LDC ) / Job Safety Analysis And Postal / Shorting Assistant aspirant must pass the 10 + 2  examination from a recognized board in India. In order to comply with eligibility criteria for Data Entry Operator ( DEO ) aspirant must pass 10 + 2 examinations with science stream and mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Time Duration:- 

Till the last year, the time duration for SSC CHSL Tier 1 examination was 75 minutes but this year time duration for the SSC CHSL Tier I examination reduced to 60 minutes instead of 75 minutes.

Questions Type:- 

The written examination consists of Multiple choice questions only.

Language:-

 The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV.

Marking:- 

For each right answer, the student will get 02 marks and there will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.


SSC CHSL Tier II Examination Pattern

The SSC CHSL Tier II examination is Pen and Paper Based Examination which related to following topics which are as follows:-
