Twitter enforced the new rules against the hatefull content as well as violence and physical harm  the micro-blogging site aims to curb hateful content. These new  rules will help to make the social platform more secure and safe and  reducing hateful content on the social media platform. ◆ These rules against any violating content will also take into activities of account offline.

◆ These new rules introduce the restrictions for those users affiliating with any organisations that promote the violence against civilians either on the Twitter or out from the Twitter .

◆ These rules also enable restrictions for those users that uses  "hateful images or symbols" as their display profiles or biographies or on their tweets.

◆ If these restrictions not be effective then the new rules can also lead to permanent suspension of users twitter account .

◆ Twitter will also start penalizing accounts that include “hateful imagery and display names,” presumably including Nazi insignia, or those who “use [a] username, display name, or profile bio to engage in abusive behavior.”

As from the previous few weeks , site has been overhauling many of its policies in recent weeks following repeated criticism over how it handles abusive content. As a result of these repeated criticism in the last month twitter has paused its verification process, as well as removing verified 'blue tick' badges from right wing figures, including former English Defence League (EDL) leader Tommy Robinson.

For months, Twitter has felt pressure — from users in the U.S. and regulators around the world, particularly in Europe — to crack down on hate speech. Recently, the company has started stripping verification status — the infamous blue checkmarks — from users who violate its policies.

The firm was also recently accused of failing to act on anti-Muslim videos retweeted by US President Donald Trump because the incident made global headlines.

The site was forced to clarify its position after an it initially appeared to suggest the videos, retweeted by Mr Trump from the account of Britain First deputy leader Jayda Fransen, were not removed because they stoked debate.

Mr. Dorsey said the site had "mistakenly pointed to the wrong reason" the videos remained online, with the company adding its current media policy had not been violated, but would "continue to re-evaluate and examine our policies as the world around us evolves".
