Railway Recruitment Board ( RRB ) has officially issued the notifications of recruitment for 62907 posts on 10 February 2018 .But the RRB made the modification on the notifications . The complete notification of recruitment is uploaded on official website of RRB in both hindi as well as in english language . Vacancy Details

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced recruitment for total 62907 posts , these posts are divided on different regions which are as given below :-

* : Includes 2 HH Backlog Vacancy.

** : Vacancies under CCAA are applicable to Apprentices trained in Railway Establishments only.

Fee Payment

Those Candidates who are applying for group D application , if candidate belong to OBC/GENERAL  category he must pay Rs. 500/- as application fee for Railway Group D Exam 2018. If candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class are required to pay Rs. 250/- as application fee.Candidates can pay fee through  credit card , debit card , net banking , e - challan etc. Those candidates who belong to General / OBC category will get Rs 400 after appearing for CBT . Those students who belong to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class will get Rs  250 refund after appearing fo CBT .

Railway Group D Selection Procedure

 Those students who applied for Railway Group D recruitment for various they will be selected for various job posts after qualifying in three stages of selection procedure which are as follows :-

Stage First :- Computer Based Test ( CBT )
Stage Second :- Physical Efficiency Test ( PET )
Stage Third :- Document Verification ( DV )

Railway Group D Examination Pattern

The first stage of selection procedure of RRB Group D for job posts consist the Computer Based Test ( CBT ) . The Computer Base Test ( CBT ) include the 100 multiple choice questions question from the following four subjects and examination pattern is as follows :-

 Marking

◆ Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories : UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -30%.
◆ Will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions: English Only
◆ There will be negative Marking as for every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.

Physical Efficiency Test ( PET )

Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
For qualifying in PET of Railway Group D Recruitment Exam, it is necessary for all the candidates to complete following eligibility critria :-

Male Candidates

◆  Candidates must be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down  .

◆  Candidates must be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in first chance.

Female Candidate

◆  Candidates must be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.

 ◆  Candidates must be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in first chance

Physical Disabled Candidates

The persons with physical disabilities as specified in Para 11.0 are exempted from appearing for PET. However, after qualifying in the CBT, such candidates will have to pass the medical examination prescribed for Persons with Disabilities.

Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates

Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates will be called for document verification.

Note :- Shortlisted candidates should produce NOC from the employer on the date of his/her DV failing which their candidature will be cancelled. Signatures of the candidates on all documents should be identical, either in English or Hindi.
