This Saturday, Central Board Of School Education ( CBSE ) has announced the result of 12th class on the official website of CBSE ( cbseresults.nic.in ). To check their results, students can also visit results.nic.in and the official website cbse.nic.in. As per the result a girl student whose name is Meghna Shrivastava from noida, Uttar Pradesh become the topper of this year of CBSE. She scored 499 marks out of 500 as result. She scored 99.8 percentage.



Secret Of Success Of Meghna Shrivastava

Meghna Shrivastava studied from Step by Step School, Sec-132, Taj Expressway, Noida. Meghna is a student of Arts stream. Meghna Srivastava scored 99 in English core, 100 in history and geography, and 100 in psychology and economics. While talking with Meghna Shrivastava, she said," "I am happy, never expected this...  its an ecstatic for me. Class XII is all about consistency. Also, do not stress over boards,"

About her success, Meghna said," There is no secret. You just have to work hard and be consistent throughout the year. I never counted the number of hours I studied. My teachers and parents have been really helpful. They never pressurized me,"



Top Three Toppers

The first topper, Meghna Shrivastava from Noida, Uttar Pradesh . Anoushka Chandra is just one mark behind with 498 and becomes the second topper of CBSE. Anoushka Chandra studied from SAJ School, Sec 14C, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad. The third is Chahat Bodhraj from Rajasthan, with 497 marks, rounding off an all-girl podium. Seven students are tied at the third spot with 497 marks each. Of these seven, one is from Jaipur, 1 from Ludhiana, 1 from Haridwar, 1 from Noida, 1 from Meerut and 2 from Ghaziabad.

A student topped in Trivandrum scored highest pass percentage of 97.32%, Student topped in Chennai stood second with 93.87%, followed by Delhi at 89%.

Overview Of CBSE Result

Around 16,38,420 registration of students has counted for the Class 10th  examination conducted by CBSE. The exams were held at 4,453 centers across India and 78 centers outside India. Around 11,86,306 registration of students has counted for Class 12th examination conducted by CBSE. The exams were held at 4,138 centers in India and 71 centers outside the country.

 As in the previous years, girls performed better than the boys. Similarly, this year also girls performed better than the boys. Out of total girls and boys, 88.31 percent girls have passed against 78.99 percent boys. Hence total 9.32 more girls than the boys are passed in CBSE Class 12th examination.

These years pass percentage of students of CBSE Class 12th is more than the last year's pass percentage of students by 0.99 percent. The pass percentage for this year is 83.01 percent while the pass percentage of last year was 82.02 percent. Around 15,674 students appeared for the CBSE Class 12 exam from outside of India. Out of 15,674 students, only 14,881 passed in CBSE 12th examination.Hence the pass percentage is 94.94 %.

◆  First of all, open a browser on your device and search for official website CBSE Board result on the browser or click on the link given below:-

◆ Now, tap on option with your class result as displayed on the page as follows:-

● Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII ) 2018

◆ After taping on your class result. A page with a forum will appear, fill your details as asked on forum and tap submit button.

◆ Finally, your result will appear to check it and download it for future reference.



Steps To Get Result Via SMS

◆ Students can also access the CBSE Class 12th results from apps like Umang and SMS organizer.

◆ To get result via sms type CBSE12 <space> and type roll number <space> and type sch no. <space> and type center no and send it to (mobile no) 7738299899 .

This year, the students of CBSE board can also get their Class XII digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at - digilocker.gov.in - which can be accessed on mobile phones on Android and iOS platforms.

This year CBSE has also partnered with largest search engine giant ' Google'. So, students can check the results of the CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th examination will directly be available on Google search for the first time this year.

The CBSE also announced a tele-counseling service to help students get over the post-result anxiety. This helpline can be accessed by dialing 1800 11 8004 between 8 am and 10 pm all days from anywhere in the country. The IVR numbers to check the results are 24300699.
