If you are 12th and are looking for a job then it is good news for you. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued official notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) 2019. The notification has been released on the official website ssc.nic.in. The application process has started and candidates will be able to apply on April 5, 2019 till 5 PM. The last date for application fee payment is 7 April 2019.

Candidates must be involved in two exams. Tier-I exam will be computer-based. This examination will be held from June 1 to 26, 2019. The Tier-II examination will be held on September 29, 2019.

Through this, the commission is going to recruit 3259 posts. The selected candidates will be appointed on the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant or Shorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator (DEO), Data Entry Operator, Grade A. Eligibility Criteria:

A student who is interested in applying the SSC CHSL 2019 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

Nationality/Citizenship:

A candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit:

Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years as on 01-08-2019 (i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1992 and not later than 01-08-2001).

Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2019):

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

Application Fee:

- Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).

- Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Exservicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

- Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 07-04-2019 (5.00 PM). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 09-04-2019 provided the challan has been generated by them before 07-04-2019 (5.00 PM).
