Our planet is full of good mysteries, no one can explain. They appear all over the world hooking our attention and leaving scientists speechless. How about that alien material that was found inside a meteorite you didn't hear about. To find out what happened, let us start with something more earthbound. First, finding the baltic sea anomaly is something you will need your diving gear on to go investigate. As it's 100 meters 300 feet down, Somebody did recently and they discovered some pretty interesting stuff that's so strange about this anomaly.

It was stumbled upon in 2011 by a diving team from a group called Ocean X. They were staggered to see this strange object lying dormant on the seafloor, it measures 70 meters 210 feet in length and is 8 meters 26 feet tall.

 The unusual structure looks kind of man-made to someone or maybe something that made it. It's just a weird object and people reckon it should not be there in the first place even stranger was the fact that Ocean X lost their power when exploring the anomaly with the electricity cutting out when they got near it. This suggests it gives off energy or something so what is it?
 A group of researchers dove down and took samples from it to try and find a proper answer. According to them, the anomaly is a natural phenomenon. The samples were brought to Stockholm University and put under the microscope, the scientists there speculated that it may have been created by moving glaciers which in ancient times acted like shovels and form the shape of the baltic sea. The anomaly's intricate patterns make it look like it was crafted by hand but this may not be the case and it could be the glaciers carved it naturally.

Anyway, the Ocean X team who found the anomaly disagrees with this view feeling the truth is still out there. The anomaly has been described as a crashed UFO and even the millennium falcon. Other people believe it's the remains of a sunken city. There is no conclusive proof that any of these theories are true that's what makes the baltic sea anomaly such an ongoing mystery.
 We now move from under the sea to dry land and a series of strange discs. They look like flying saucers made of stone and the really weird thing is they were discovered by a team of UFO hunters, the group KOSMOPOISK which is also called space search was excavating a site in the Volgograd region of Russia.

In 2015, when they began seeing these discs which appear to have been carved by an ancient civilization, they number over a dozen. The disks were quite modest in size with the largest found measuring 2 meters 6.6 feet across, then a disc double the size was found. What are these things?

The answer may lie beyond the star at least according to these enthusiastic explorers. The group thinks this is because the discs look a lot like objects that have been recorded on the surface of Mars. Could it be that they're from a drone tag that crash-landed on Earth from the red planet? Rather than worrying about attacks from other planets, we should focus on what's happening down on Earth? What do we mean by that?
 Well, the disks are thought to be rich in metal tungsten which is also known as wolfram that is used in military defense tech where it's a vital part of stuff like bullets and missiles. You can see how a UFO conspiracy theorist would take that idea and apply it to Mars. But does that really make sense, isn't it?

More likely all these stones were carved by people here on our planet. Rather than lots of Mars drones landing on Earth, it's more likely was carving the stones for our own purposes. As for what those purposes were well we don't really know right now. That is not the end of the story for stone disks.


As the mysterious Kemerovo object will show us. The finding of the object was covered in the media this year, it was actually spotted four years previously. Around the time, the other discs were being talked about. As with many of these objects, it was found in the ground at a coal mine in the Russian city of Kemerovo. It is 1.2 meters four feet across and weighs in at about 200 kilograms or 441 pounds. You can't have failed to notice that it looks like a UFO. Some people have gotten excited about what the alien-like object might be?
 With Scott C Waring, a V.T. database believes it's a scout ship. What was it scouting? A giant mothership apparently and here's where it gets strange. Because what looks like stone, in fact, may not be stone. The thinking is the object is made out of nano bars, tiny robotic machines that are bonded together to create a super-strong material. We are going to take that with an enormous pinch of salt, however, there might be another exciting connection to alien life that hasn't been thought of. Look at it this way when there's a ufo sighting what happens if someone is quick they reach for their camera. Back in ancient times, people didn't have cameras so they probably painted what they saw from memory. Could these carved stone objects which have been found in lots of different places be an early form of the image capturing what looks like a lump of rock actually proves to be something exciting with many possible explanations? Whatever it is it's one hell of a mystery.

Russia has its fair share of them out there in the cold but our next entry happened in warmer weather much warmer weather. The Utah desert, in fact, if you were taking a stroll through the Utah desert in 2004, you might have gotten a big surprise.


The appearance of a strange disc in the parched earth was like something out of a sci-fi movie, a real-life flying saucer. It's not a mirage this was an actual thing that crash-landed in the desert. What would you do if you stumbled across it? Run away that's not a bad decision though not a very exciting one. The majority would probably whip out their phone and start filming it. Within minutes, the sighting would be on social media and shared all around the world and in the press.
 This object truly appears to be something from another world and for a time the planet might believe they were witnessing genuine alien technology that fell from the sky. You have probably guessed by now that there was not an ET crash landing in Utah, fifteen years ago. It is possible the situation could have been covered up if there was but no. What we're looking at here is in fact part of a NASA-built robot.

In 2001, the Genesis spaceship had been launched with the aim of studying our sun by gathering solar wind particles. It hoped to gain a greater understanding of the sun's composition and also what elements are out there amongst the stars. The Genesis ship which was robotically piloted sent a return capsule back down to Earth however the parachutes failed. This resulted in the capsule plunging to the ground at a speed of 300 km/h or 186 miles per hour. Luckily authorities were aware of the object and chased it down before anyone could find it and thought an alien invasion force was on the way. While this is one mystery that has been solved. It's still amazing to think of what could suddenly fall from the sky when innocent bystanders least expected.
 Now if we were to mention minerals to you, you probably would not find that interesting. What's so great about minerals, they are useful but pretty boring on the whole. Then how about a previously unknown mineral and not only that but one from another planet also.

Just this year a brand new type of mineral was found and it was all thanks to a meteorite that crashed in Australia over half a century ago. That lump of space rock was called the Wedderburn Meteorite. As it landed outside the town of Wedderburn in Victoria Australia.


We say it for so long, it's really not that big at all. In fact, it's comparable to lemon and you can hold it between your fingers. The meteorite is thought to have come from the core of a far-off planet. This planet broke apart probably due to a collision with an asteroid or even another world sending the meteorite in our direction. It's estimated the meteorite had been moving through space for over a million years with Victoria becoming its final destination.

The meteorite was taken from the town to the Victoria Museum, where it attracted lots of interest from scientists looking to unlock its secrets. The researchers studied slices of the object. We don't know how you had sliced up a spacing rod, but we imagine it would have been done very very carefully and it has been done a few times, meaning that only part of the original meteorite remains out of the 220 grams or half a pound that landed in 1951, only 71 grams or 0.2 pounds is left in the museum.
 The new mineral was a thin layer of white crystals discovered between other mineral layers made up of iron and carbon. The alien mineral is named Edscottite. This is not some space-age name but rather a tribute to Cosmochemist Edward Scott, who works at the University Of Hawaii.

Another interesting detail is that Edscottite is found on Earth but it does not happen naturally, it's part of a smelting process as iron is turned into steel.
